How an exchange ID works
An exchange ID is a login — a username and password — for a betting account that runs on exchange-style software. Through it you reach cricket and other sports markets, the back and lay buttons, and a set of casino and card tables, all drawing on one balance. Sky Exchange is an independent ID provider and support team. We do not own or operate any betting exchange or its software; our job is to set up your account, process your deposits and withdrawals, and answer your questions on WhatsApp.
Why a chat and not a website sign-up form? Mainly because a real person handles every request. That person can explain limits, sort out a payment that has not shown up, or reset a password, and you always know which number to message. There is no unknown app to install and no long form asking for documents you would rather not upload.
One point matters before anything else: online betting is legal in some Indian states and banned in others, and the rules keep changing. Please check what applies where you live. IDs are only for adults aged 18 and above.
What to keep ready
Setting up takes one short conversation if you have these sorted out beforehand:
- Be 18 or older. Adults only, with no exceptions. Please do not request an ID for a younger family member or friend.
- A long-term WhatsApp number. Support, resets and payout confirmations all go through it.
- A payment account in your name. UPI apps such as PhonePe, Google Pay and Paytm, or a regular savings account, all work. The name on it should match the name you give the team, because withdrawals are paid only to a matching account.
- A monthly limit you have already decided. Pick an amount you could lose without affecting rent, bills or savings. Money for betting is spending money, not an investment, and it should never be borrowed.
- An idea of what you want to play. Cricket markets, casino tables or both. It helps the team switch on the right sections and explain the relevant limits.
The setup, one message at a time
- Open the chat. Tap a WhatsApp button on this site. A short greeting is pre-filled; send it as it is or type your own.
- Answer a few basic questions. Expect to be asked your name, a username you would like and what you mainly want to play. Nobody needs your bank password, card PIN or OTP — ever.
- Get the deposit details in the same chat. The team shares the current UPI ID or bank details. These can change, so use only what you receive in that conversation, on that day.
- Pay and send proof. After paying, share a screenshot or the 12-digit UTR reference. This lets the team match your payment quickly.
- Receive your login. Once the payment is confirmed, the balance is added and your username, temporary password and login link are sent to you.
- Change the password straight away. Do it before placing a single bet.
How long does all this take? During normal hours, usually a few minutes from message to login. On big match evenings, or late at night, you may wait a little longer because each request is handled by a person rather than a bot. Current deposit minimums and payment options are decided by the team, so ask in the chat; the deposits and withdrawals guide explains how payments work in more detail.
Sky Exchange will never message you first from an unknown number asking for money. If you are unsure whether a message is genuine, ask on the number you originally used.
First login checklist
Open the login link from the chat, sign in with the details you were sent, and set a new password that you do not use anywhere else. Then take a few minutes to look around before betting:
- Balance: confirm it equals what you deposited.
- Account statement: find the page that lists every bet, deposit and withdrawal. You will use it whenever a number looks wrong.
- Stake limits: each market has a minimum and maximum stake, and they differ between sports markets and casino tables.
- Open bets: learn where unsettled bets appear so you do not place the same bet twice by mistake.
- Your own stop point: set a phone reminder for a time or loss amount at which you will log out.
If the back and lay columns look unfamiliar, read the back and lay betting guide before your first cricket bet. A lay bet can cost far more than its stake if you misread it, and that is the most common mistake new users make.
Practising with a demo ID
New to exchange betting? Ask the team for a demo ID. It behaves like a real account but runs on practice credits, so you can see how odds move during a match, how a lay bet is settled and what happens to your exposure when you place bets on both sides. Demo credits cannot be withdrawn or turned into real money.
Keep in mind that practice results prove nothing about future results. A good run on a demo account often makes people overconfident when real money is involved. Use it to learn the screens and the maths, not to test a "system". The same applies to card games and crash games covered on the live casino page — watching a few dozen practice rounds is the quickest way to understand how often each outcome comes up.
Protecting your account
Most trouble with betting IDs comes from scammers posing as support, not from the account itself. These habits stop almost all of it:
- Save one support number and deal only with that chat. Copycat accounts often use similar names, logos and display pictures.
- Keep your password private. Genuine support never needs it, and no one should ask for an OTP from your bank or UPI app.
- Hold on to payment proof — screenshots and UTR numbers — until each deposit appears in your balance.
- Log out on shared phones and avoid saving the password in a browser that other people use.
- Watch how you feel about betting. If you are chasing losses, hiding it from family or betting money meant for something else, ask the team to pause or close the ID. Our responsible gaming page lists free helplines.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a fee for opening a Sky Exchange ID?
Opening the ID itself is not charged. You only fund the balance you plan to play with. If anyone asks for a separate "activation" or "registration" payment, stop and check with the team on the number you first used.
Can I get an ID without depositing first?
You can ask for a demo ID with practice credits and no deposit. A real-money ID becomes usable once your first deposit is confirmed by the team.
Which phone number should I use?
Use a WhatsApp number you will keep for a long time. Password resets, payment confirmations and any account questions are handled through that number, so a temporary SIM causes problems later.
Can someone else get an ID for me?
No. Each ID should belong to one adult who requests it and uses it personally. Withdrawals go only to a bank or UPI account in the account holder’s own name.
